I really wish this book had been around when I was in my 20s and making all the mistakes Behrendt outlines in gory and humorous detail here! Such as: Don't EVER phone your ex, especially not when you are at your worst, i.e., sloppy drunk and desperate at 2 a.m. Advice in the book, which runs along the lines of "Hey, this is such a sucky relationship, so why are you hanging on to it so tightly?" is clear, logical and empowering! - Mom of Sons

Let me tell
you if his wife didnt have him, this guy would be taken in a heartbeat,..
a great second book to knock some sense into women who are in the throes
of a breakup.
I have downloaded both of his books and its on my Ipod as I play him in my
head all the time.. I know find myself spouting "gregisms".. and don't waste
my time with the wrong guys anymore.. it is a lot more simple then women
realize.
THE ONLY problem I had was with the longer audio edition.. in the short version
Greg and his wife read.. but in the longer version some other guy is reading
and its just awful.. Greg can get away with saying "super fox" this other
guy sounds like pitchy annoying car salesman.. very fake.. I had to turn
off that version after five minutes.. so I wish Greg would have done his
own audio on the longer version.
IF he does you bet I am downloading it... Greg Behrendt should be in EVERY
womans head.. its way overdue.. you will not be dissapointed with this book
or the audio (well except, as said, the long version.. ugh!)~Patrizia

wish I'd started reading it RIGHT when we broke up, not six months (and many

If the reader can muddle through the repetitive inspirational cheers from the authors, she can make it to the truly funny paragraphs that intersperse this book. The most entertaining (and slightly disturbing) parts are the “Psycho Confessional” sections. Reading about a girl who left her ex on the outskirts of a rural town on a rainy, tornado-watch night would make any normal girl re-evaluate her situation and think, “Hey, maybe it’s not that bad…”~ Marisa
